The need for medical staff during the corona crisis is high, and respiratory physiotherapists too can contribute to the care of severely ill patients with COVID-19. The treatment of these patients requires specialist expertise and additional measures to prevent contamination and further spread of the virus. Italian respiratory physiotherapists share their experiences and provide advice for treating this unique group of patients.
