Saurab Sharma is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and a manual therapist at Dhulikhel Hospital and a lecturer at its partner university, Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS), Nepal.
Saurab specializes in pain science and manual therapy. He is always an eager learner and an evidence based practitioner who believes in updating his knowledge all the time.
Saurab teaches evidence based physiotherapy pratice, ethics, biomechanics, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and manual therapy to undergraduate physiotherapy students.
He also supervises students in their research projects mostly in musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain. He is the receiver of International Association for Study of Pain developing country collaborative research grant in 2015. He is studying cross cultural contribution of pain. He is also involved in developing outcome tools for clinical and research use in Nepali. He plans to pursue PhD in pain.
