There is no solid scientific evidence for the treatment of adolescents with growth pain below their patella: almost all treatment advice for adolescents with Osgood-Schlatter is based on expert opinions. This is concluded by German researchers, who performed a literature review identifying more reviews (15) than original studies (13) on this topic.
