Interventions for children with patellar tendon pain

Are loaded exercise programs safe for children?

Those who wish to know which intervention works best for children with patellar tendon related pain, are still completely in the dark. Despite an extensive search which resulted in a systematic review, British researchers hardly found any evidence for multiple interventions to treat patellar tendon related knee complaints in children and adolescents. Only three studies had results that could be implemented, but all had a high risk of bias.
