Anatomy continues

Why new insights into the fascial system will cause a shift in functional anatomy

Anatomy continues: in textbooks and pictures anatomical structures are clearly defined and clearly depicted. This is in contrast with reality. In cadaveric dissection one can see that bounderies between anatomical structures are not absolute, and that anatomical structures are interconnected with the help of fascia.

This lecture is presented by Karl Jacobs (lecturer of anatomy at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences; anatomist at Amsterdam Medical Centre) during the International Conference of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (icmsu.com) in Amsterdam 28th march 2015.
